Storytelling through photography
As an editorial wedding photographer with a love for romantic storytelling, my style is not only about documenting a moment, but telling a story.
Your memories are made up not only of the big moments, but through remembering the scent of the roses in the garden of your wedding venue, the gentle breeze on your dress as you wander the grounds, the scale of the mountains at your elopement location. Relax, breathe, be at peace and simply soak in this moment while I capture your love story.
I use film making techniques in my photography style to truly set the scene, and tell your story in the most honest and authentic way, so no detail is left unsaid.
For weddings and elopements in Scotland and the UK, we'll meet in person or over zoom to chat all about you and your plans. I want to hear about your life, your values, what you love and whats important to you so that as your wedding photographer, I can tell the story of your day through your eyes. I value these conversations so highly - knowing your story allows me to tell it truthfully and authentically through my blend of storytelling and editorial styles.

We'll keep in contact and plan your wedding day together through mood-boards and meetings with your other vendors. Wedding venues usually have a coordinator for the day who I will liaise with but, for elopements, I would be honoured to take on that role. We'll work together to plan the perfect location, back up locations, travel routes, accommodation, suppliers, and whatever else you need.

​Afterwards , I get to work on your gallery. AI is quickly encroaching on the photography world, but there is nothing more attentive than the human eye. I go through every image and hand select only the best images for your story, before editing each image by hand. Your story deserves the time and attention.

Very soon after your day, you'll receive a sneak preview of the sweetest, most important moments. Within a few weeks, your full gallery will be delivered, taking you right back to the start. Plan a date night with your love, share your memories and relive your story together.
